NAVY CADENCE
These are PT Cadences that I have learned from being a cadence caller for "A" School, and BESS. Just one of the many things I have learned from joining "The World's Finest Navy"!
When My Granny... The US NAVY Navy Cadence Countdown
They
Say That In The Navy... Everywhere We Go
Uncle Sam
Yellow Ribbon
Together
PAIN
When I Get To ... Marching Down The Avenue
Everywhere we go,
People want to know,
Who We are,
So we tell them...
We're not The Army, The Backpacking Army,
We're not the Coast Guard, They don't even work hard,
We're not the Air Force, The Low-Flying Air Force,
We're not the Marines, They don't even look mean,
We are the NAVY
The United States Navy,
The Blue & Gold Navy,
The World's Finest Navy!
I'm glad I work for Uncle Sam,
Let's me know just who I am.
And If I die in the Combat Zone,
Box me up and ship me home.
In her hair she wore a yellow ribbon,
and she wore it in the merry month of May.
If you asked her just why the hell she wore it,
she wore it for the sailor who was always underway.
On her side she wore a 45,
She wore it for the sailor who was always underway.
If you asked her just why the hell she wore it,
She racked and jacked a single round and blew your ass away.
We started Together,
We're gonna finish, Together
PT Good for you, Good for me
Ah, ha, Ho-ho-, he-he
(repeat)
When my granny was 91, She PT'd just for fun.
When my granny was 92, She PT'd Much better than you.
When my granny was 93, She PT'd just like you and me.
When my granny was 94, She PT'd more and more.
When my granny was 95, She PT'd just to stay alive.
When my granny was 96, She PT'd just for kicks.
When my granny was 97, She PT'd to 7-11.
When my granny was 98, She PT'd just to stay up late.
When my granny was 99 She PT'd all the time.
When my granny was 105, She PT'd until the day she died.
When my granny was 107, She PT'd all the way to Heaven.
When my granny was 108, She PT'd through the Pearly Gates.
When my granny was 109, She PT'd and it was Divine.

They say that in the Navy, the Coffee's mighty fine,
Looks like muddy water, tastes like turpentine.
Oh Lord I want to go home,
But they won't let me go home,
o-o-o-o-o-oh HEY!
They say that in the Navy, the Chicken's might fine,
One jumped on the table, and started double-time
Oh Lord I want to go home,
But they won't let me go home,
o-o-o-o-o-oh HEY!
They say that in the Navy, the Fish is mighty fine,
One jumped out the water, and killed a friend of mine.
Oh Lord I want to go home,
But they won't let me go home,
o-o-o-o-o-oh HEY!
They say that in the Navy, the pay is mighty fine,
They give you hundred dollars and take back ninety-nine
Oh Lord I want to go home,
But they won't let me go home,
o-o-o-o-o-oh HEY!
Here we go again,
Same old song again,
Running down the avenue,
3 more miles and we'll be through,
Oh Lord, I want to go home,
But they won't let me go home,
o-o-o-o-o-oh
Pain, in my neck,
I don't care, I need it there
Pain, in my back,
I don't care, I need it there
Pain, in my side,
I don't care, I need it there
Pain, in my leg,
I don't care, I need it there
Pain, in my feet,
I don't care, I need it there
(You can use any part of the body and keep repeating)
When I get to Iraq,
Houssein gonna ask me,
How I'm gonna kill him, in just one day.
And I reply with a switch-blade knife,
get out my way, I"m gonna take your life!
When I get to Afgan,
Osama gonna ask me,
How I'm gonna find him, in just one day.
I reply with a whole lot of gas,
get out my way, I'm gonna kill your ass.
When I get to Cuba,
Castro gonna ask me,
How I get to Cuba, in just one day
And I reply with a whole lot of anger
Blood and guts and a little bit of danger.
